Macy + Associates was retained by the Downtown Center Business Improvement District(DCBID) to spearhead a strategic public and media relations program designed to enhance the visibility of the organization and its work to further the Downtown Los Angeles Economic Renaissance. For more than 18 years, the DCBID has been the catalyst in Downtown Los Angeles’ transformation into a vibrant 24/7 neighborhood. Comprised of nearly 1,700 property owners in the central business district, the DCBID employs a full slate of economic development programs, clean and safe teams, and marketing efforts to help the 65-block central business district achieve its full potential as a great place to live, work, and play.

Further, the program has focused on positioning the DCBID and its leadership as thought leaders onDowntown Los Angeles’s riseto one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
The Agency continues to actively engage the media via social media, strategic press conferences, key media briefings, trade shows, public speaking engagements, along with a consistent flow of strategic press releases, and expert source pitching.
