Newport Beach-based Jupiter Holdings and CBRE approached the Agency to re-brand and re-envision an existing, traditional high-rise office tower on the waterfront of San Pedro, CA. Breathtaking views of the waterfront and the hills of Palos Verdes are visible from virtually every floor, but they were having difficulty overcoming an outdated perception of San Pedro itself and the dated architecture of the building.  The agency’s branding strategy focused on marketing the area as a whole and Topaz itself as an up-and-coming, waterfront location for creative and tech companies.  As part of branding for progressive companies, the agency also recommended additions and modifications to the property, including commissioning a massive art installation by famous local artist, John Van Hammersveld of ‘Endless Summer’ poster fame. Topaz has successfully welcomed a wide variety of new tenants, including academic, healthcare, professional services and agencies.
